Overview:

Three-leaved stonecrop or Sedum ternatum makes an excellent ground cover in shady spots. Use three-leaved stonecrop under shrubs and around other woodland wildflowers. It is an excellent early-season pollinator plant, offering pollen and nectar for native bees.

Care: Stonecrop holds its own through the winter, and begins growing in earnest once the soil has warmed in April.  Colonies froth into bloom in Late April to May with their eye-catching vibrant white flowers that really stand out in a shady spot.  Stonecrop stays green all year round, even in crippling droughts.
