Black-Eyed Susan 'Goldsturm' (Rudbeckia fulgida)

Overview:
Rudbeckia fulgida or Black-Eyed Susan is a 2-3' tall perennial featuring bright gold flowers with brown cones. Flowers bloom in the summer (June and July) and lasts for about 2 weeks. Its dense foliage helps suppress weed, and is very resistant to disease and pest. In the winter, seeds are forage for birds. It tolerates droughts very well.
Care:
Plant in average, dry, well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade. Black-Eyed Susans 'Goldsturm' will tolerate drought once established. Provide regular watering and air circulation. Deadhead spent flowers to prolong bloom period.
